long story short i ended up seize the motor and it sat for 6 months while i figured wat to do.

i found a guy in the phone book who has been buildin toyota motors for 20 some years and has a shop behind his house. so we bs for a week or two deciding wat all i want done. i got it bored 40 over, 268 cam from eb, some pistons and rings from i cant remeber, balanced and blue printed, port and polished head with bigger valves etc.... so much more id have to get my paper out to tell u all of it. he seemed to like me and only charged me 1300 for it al with a new clutch ... wat a deal...

i also found a weber 32 36 elec choke during this that was brand new for 150 on craigs was on a guy truck who couldnt tune it, so i had my guy rejet i to stock besides one up on the primary idle thanks xxtreme for the tips on wat to jet it to.

i want to lower my bed which meens ill have to cut of my rollbar and weld some pipe to it to make it flush with the cab.... then my truck box should fit behind the rollbar like it should be

now after i domy regulator and if it doesnt fix the hill climb issue i will be modding the weber by drilling tiny holes and routing the excess gas via a hose to the charcol canistor so when the carb is tillted that gas thats extra go in to the canistor

If you cut your frame after stock location shackles , you will need to get creative on the 63 swap. You will need to move your rear shackle mounts atleast 4" back from stock, sometimes a little more depending on the shackle angle you want. The last one I did we moved the rear mount 4 3/8 and had about a 30-35* shackle angle. You can always build a rear cross member or bumper off your frame and mount the shackle hangers off that on the bottom or on the back side of bumper. The shackle will be hanging out back pretty far , but it seems like with 63s and a bob or flat bed they always do hang way out the back. Other than your bed I like your build.
