I was thinking about that if I can find some close to the length that I need hopefully longer would be great. I can cut it at home to the length I need if I find the right pieces. I just don't have a welder nor have I ever welded.

Oh yeah i can weld for you. I have a 110 flux cored wire feed but it gets the job dont i've welded most everything on my truck with it.

Just let me know when you want some welding done or wanna meet up for a beer

Yeah 38's it will probly look weird but i will have a super low center of gravity if i can clear 'em. I'll run 36's for a while first

38's...? GOT GEARS?

lol!!

I thought you were gonna use those shackels in the front? You probably didn't need to cut them for the rear?

haha I love my Histeer/RUF setup, but I SERIOUSLY need to put in longer brake lines.

What did you do to correct your pinion angle before the front hanger? You may have posted up, but I dont remember

I havent done anything about the pinion angle yet, one of these days i will quit being lazy and set up new perches or at least burn on shims

I finally got my driveshaft back in (just got it lengthened) and the Ujoint is binding, but only when the grease nipple is at the top... I could probably just clearance it with a small dremmel or something like that, but I cant imagine it at full droop.

What length were your shackles for the front spring?
I have the Sky MFG boomerangs, I think the're 5.5", that may be why my pinion is pretty much flat

Yeah i just did my rear driveshaft the other day now i'm all good to go there.

Thats strange that your binding... mine are smooth as butter and i have 2 extra leafs in the pack plus the overloads (maybe an extra inch of lift) then another inch or so from the front hanger and 5" Downey spring shackles. Maybe the perches were different in 83 or something idk.
