I have no Idea where the seats came from. They are ok, they do not adjust very well. Not sure If I want to keep them or not.

Not to much progress to report, have been working a lot.
I did get a new shifter bushing and seat from Marlin crawler but can not get the shifter to pop out. I replaced the one on my 88 and it was super easy. I tried pushing down the turning counter clockwise no workie.
Anyone got any ideas?

Other than that still trying to find some front springs to make a hybrid pack, may give up and go with shackles.

She also needs new tires, I have some tundra wheels with 245/75/r16 mt that Ineed to get mounted up.
I know there going to rub, so looking at spacers.

Take a hammer and screwdriver and tap the screwdriver against the thing at a 45 degree angle. That's how I got my shifter out.

Also, those seats look like stock toyota seats.

So I drove the truck to the gas station tonight and turned it off came back started it started then died. Never started again. First I thought I flooded it, waited no start, checked all the plug wires good. Checked spark good, then sprayed starting fluid still would not fire. WTF Then I manualy hit the throttle and no fuel would come out of the carb.
so yea not sure where to go from here accel pump? fuel pump?

Just a little up date. I let the truck sit over night then she fired up the next day. Now she fires up just fine. I have some vacume issues to track down.
I sold my 88 yota the other day so that should free up a little cash.
Other than that work has been busy not giving me that much time for the truck.

Oh yea looking for some wheel spacers, if any one has any they want to get rid of let me know!

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f114/de-smog...ly-22r-205845/

Ran in to some issues

In this pic this hose is running to the Manifold Vacuum/Idle advance. The one closest to the engine.

The Ported Vacuum/Normal advance one towards the rad is going to the J shaped one.

The uncaped line I have caped when running.
Right now she fires right up, but idles crappy and sending some bluish smoke out the pipe.

She did idle better before the d smog.
Please help!!!

Thanks guys!!

Bluish smoke is oil burning. Nothing the de-smog would affect.

I saw the just what you need yesterday, red long bed, hood looked awesome I didn't see a dent right front fender was great, no visible dent or rust, I didn't look at the left fender, cause I was just after a tranny donor, he was trying to sell me the truck but I was not interested no motor or tanny I think, it was the same color as yours!

The truck had a homemade tailgate, I didn't really look at the bed much, as I wasn't looking for it, but I did notice the hood and fender cause I've been working on mine and these were so much better. They are located in west ok bout 15 miles from Texas, not that far from some of NM.
