Rehab of 80 Sport Truck....

Thanks, they are a little tricky to apply and you only have one shot to get them right, the adhesive is very aggressive so repositioning them is out of the question if you do the "dry" method of installation.
You can also install using a "wet" method which allows for repositioning but sounds messy to me and I had some prior Sign experience with vinyl lettering.

All the best,

Zack, I will check with them next time I go by, I imagine they would and still should have all the measurements in the computer.
A warning though they aren't cheap as its a one shot deal from the sign shop, unlike vendors like James Dean Creations that make the 81-95 stripping in bulk.

Zack, I stopped by the Sign Shop today and they can do up another set, both sides and hood graffics for $386., just for comparison I was charged $450 but that included initial design, measurement input and layout which won't be charged on subsequent orders now that its in their computer. Kevin

Do you want to PM the info? Any idea as to the shelf life of the decals? My truck is still some time away from paint.
Thank you again!

Your better off waiting till your truck is ready for them so they are "fresh".....I find if they sit around for any length of time I've had problems with the backing paper becomes harder to remove without tearing and being a real pain, that has been my experience with vinyl lettering for Signs anyway.

First-gen Yota 4x4's, coolest trucks ever. Doing 'rehab' on an '82 myself now. Just plopped a 20R head, LCE cam and 38/38 on last weekend. Welded up a 2" exhaust with a Dynomax super turbo and left the 22R exhaust manifold/downpipe on.
I'm not going for the ultimate 'stocker' look but just making it a useful truck w/o hacking it to pieces to beat to tar on some trail. Yours, however is a step above. Simply beautiful. Nothing beats the factory style of the first gen.
You have a very nice truck. Keep it updated, I like reading about it!
