Neat truck you have there. I've hunted high and low here for one of those. They are rare as can be here in somewhat decent shape. I'm lookin forward to see what you do with it!

I thought about using peel and seal but wasn't sure if I wanted to stick tar back down. The carpet I'm putting back in is twice as thick as stock. I may still do the peel and seal I'm not sure yet.
Does everyone seem to like it?

It always helps when someone knows what they are doing. I've had 2 replaced due to damage beyond repair and haven't had a problem with leaks. Working on taking mine out during my build and will do the same as you. It's one of the "smart" moves on these things.

Go these today at home depot for the rear sliding window. The latch is missing on my rear slider, thought these would do great for now. I was going to make something with all thread rod then i found these.
Ill probably still continue to use them even after i get a new latch. I put two on either side on the bottom, 4 come in a pack so you could even do 2 at the top also.
They just slide in the rear window channel and tighten down. After you get them where you want them you can even drill a little hole in the side of the window channel for the set screw to go through.

Those window locks work good, I used them after my truck was stolen years ago. The stock window latch isn't much of a deterrent to keep someone out

got some wheel spacers and new tires for the original wheels. They are toyo mt's 33 10.50 r15

I inspected the brakes while the wheels were off and the pads still were good but the rotors are rough condition and grooved, so i will be replacing those soon
