Tell me more about that bench seat! Is it from the pickup, did you have it recovered or is that a slip over?

The wire loom has instructions and hardware to mount the wires on top or bottom I liked it this way better.

The PO had it recovered. It is from the truck. No idea where he had it done but I like the fabric looks like it should be there and has some air flow.

With all the landscaping your doing lately, I think "digging" is a bad choice of words.

Thank goodness for tractors lol

CBR - if you have anyway of finding out who did the seat, I'd be interested to hear who it was. I've got a bench seat coming for my '83 that'll need recovered

Final product and rebuilt front and rear axles as they leaked like a sob. ordered new L52 HD as the one I put in was making a real not good noise...

Sure looks good! I like the color combo on your Dad"s truck. Toyota sure had some cool paint options back then.

Looking great! Still can't believe that mangled truck kept you safe. What injuries did you have? What was going through your mind?

I broke my back in three places but in a way that did not hinder my ability to walk. And the normal small cuts and such very good overall. My first thought was O S#!$ this is going to mess up my truck. Then on the way down I thought if I live I hope this thing stops wheels down.

Wow! I can't imagine! Glad you made it out Okay! Testimate to how tough these trucks are. I had an accident in my last 82 and someone pulled right out of s driveway as I was doing 40. That truck just needed a new front end and it was back on the road after I bought it back for 300 from ins. It felt so solid when it impacted though. Just felt well built.

Yeah I have seen quite a few of them that have been in some kind of wreck and a large number of those are back on the road after a little work. Very tough little trucks.
