CBR - if you have anyway of finding out who did the seat, I'd be interested to hear who it was. I've got a bench seat coming for my '83 that'll need recovered

Now at this point I took another trip home and my dad who has been able to see all the stuff I have been doing to my truck was super stoked and got himself an 83 toyota for me to restore for him since he liked mine...

Now I'm gonna just catch ya'll up to nowish with a boat load of pictures like how I reinstalled all the stuff from the old truck and the dual t case and all that. I will say that all of this has happened over some years so don't be too shocked.

I broke my back in three places but in a way that did not hinder my ability to walk. And the normal small cuts and such very good overall. My first thought was O S#!$ this is going to mess up my truck. Then on the way down I thought if I live I hope this thing stops wheels down.

Wow! I can't imagine! Glad you made it out Okay! Testimate to how tough these trucks are. I had an accident in my last 82 and someone pulled right out of s driveway as I was doing 40. That truck just needed a new front end and it was back on the road after I bought it back for 300 from ins. It felt so solid when it impacted though. Just felt well built.

Yeah I have seen quite a few of them that have been in some kind of wreck and a large number of those are back on the road after a little work. Very tough little trucks.
