I got the floor boards welded in and primed waiting till the rain leaves before I bed line the inside and under coat the bottom.
I got the buckets out of the 4 runner they are in decent shape just very dirty I forgot how comfy the SR5 seats where and how much adjusting they had so I will have a bench to put in the back when I get my bed cover built.

Always good to hear about making progress. We got cold and rain here ourselves. Hope we have a mild winter. Last year it was cold and brutal here.
A good comfy seat is always a good investment. Good job.

I realized my dash has a bunch of sanding marks in it still so I am gonna go finer on the grit and respray after I use some more glazing putty. It looked really good I used kylon flat tan in the camo line and it matched my light vinyl perfect.

We are kind of in the same spot. I get to get my engine dug out of its hiding spot and start tearing it down. Hoping for the best. Hoping the weather holds out a while longer also.
I would think that tan would look great for the interior.

I textured my dash I kinda did a knock down on it but in a much smaller scale than on sheet rock it looks awsome, I also painted my bezel around my instrument the same color as the dash it is starting to come together I will start on my engine this week.

We are kind of running in the same direction. Seems like one of us is out of step with the other at times. But it will get there. Looking for to seeing pics of the dash. These are hard to come by for a good one.

Ok I put the crank in the block last night. I have got a ? about the thrust washer install in my CHILTON it says to pry the crank foward and backwart and then back foward a couple of times before you tighten the cap that holds the TW I tried to pry it back and forth and it would not move, I assumed it was good and tightend the cap to 76 ftlb like the LCE tourqe specs says does that sound right? This is my first ever engine build I do body work and matenace work on engines never had one tore down to do a rebuild.
Terry I will try to get these pictures up.
I am sorry to every one that I have not been posting Pictures like I should but when I upload them its gonna be a butt load of them.....

Sounds like you got it right, it shouldnt move much at all. I like Haynes better, someday I will get a FSM. Didnt know you did bodywork, wish you and Jason in tn lived closer.
I can get it done, but am in slow motion. Hoping someday to get faster at it. No matter how much I pay close attention, I always miss something. I try for perfection, but thats not what I get. I looks better then when I started and am doing it myself so get a lot of satisfaction out of it.
Hope you are getting better weather then we are.

yeah prefer Haynes but the chiltons came with the truck so that was one less thing I had to buy. Yeah we have had good weather Saturday I got a lot done I got the bucket seats mounted in the dash back in and most of that stuff put in I just need to buy a heater core before I put it all back in. I got the pistons in and timing chain on also I found out the the engine builder paper gaskets are a little bigger than what they sould be but that is easy to fix just use the utility knife to cut off the extra.. I hope the head gasket fits good.....LOL....
