http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-cylinders-...#ht_2682wt_840

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LPG-GPL-auto...4#ht_879wt_700

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUAL-FUEL-PR...#ht_1201wt_700

i'll dig out more info later. one of the vendors (the first one, i think) gave me the installation instructions. basically the same setup as now, but instead of the intake adapter, there's a series of injectors that feed the intake plenum

they've actually come down in price a whole bunch

once i get a better income (aka a job) i'd like to do either this or a diesel swap (or get another truck and do both)

edit- here's the email chain with a bunch of info on the kit:
Hi Ian,

the converter temperature sensor is fitted to the LPg pressure reducer.
The vapour sensor is mounted on teh injector rail.
The multivalve is the valve block fitted to the tank. This includes the level float, filler entry, filling stop valve and outlet valve with electronic shut off.

The cut intector wiring will be for 4 cylinders only. Bosch fittings are offered as an extra but you will want the solder in ones that come as standard. That makes the job neater and Jap plugs vary and often do not fit. I very rarly use plug in looms.

The UK filler system uses the bayonet system. I'm sure the US normaly uses the ACME system - I can supply an ACME filler as they are also used in parts of Europe.

Do you want some photo's showing the layout of the system?

Regards
Dai

Thanks Dai,

Those helped. Just a few questions about the diagram on page 17-33:

-Where is the "converter temperature sensor"?
-Connections 6 and 7 are left disconnected, but I'm assuming they can be connected for read-out information on a PC? How/where would they connect?
-Where is the "multivalve"?
-For the "cut injector wiring", does the kit come with it for 4 cylinder engines? And what style termination connector does it have for the injectors?
-Are UK and US propane fittings the same? Or do I need an adapter? I'm not too familiar with other propane systems.

Sorry for all the questions, but I want to make an informed decision. So far, I'm understanding this system much more than before.

Hi Ian,

the tank system is slightly differnt for the USA so you realy only need to look at the front end instructions. The hardest part is the wiring.
Enclosed are the wiring diagrams.

Regards
Dai
