bought my 1980 toyota pickup completely stock no power steering, 20r and with the 4 speed.
Day 1 put on a weber 32/38 carb
Day 2 complete flow master exhaust (from header back)
Day 3 gathered everything to do the front end. front 3inch trail gear springs, ifs steering box, trail gear high steer, pullys and hoses for the power steering, power steering pump which i pulled out of a 87 4runner, trail gear spring hanger, 2 inch trail gear greaseable shackles, u bolt flip kit.
It took me about a 4 days to put all of the front end stuff on.
Day 11 pulled the 4speed tranny out and put 5speed out of a 83 toyota 4x4. do the clutch while your under there and have it off.
Day 12 rear end. i just ran some 63 inch chevy spring in the rear i got them out of a 93 chevy half ton
Day 13 bobbed my bed 16inchs
