Hey all,
so for awhile now my car (2001 Toyota Corolla. 4CL. 185K mi) has been leaking oil, thought it was from the valve cover gasket but then tracked it down to be sputtering from the valve cover breathers. I have a new PCV valve and even made sure the lines were cleared, still having the same problem. Any insight or lead into the right direction?

 

Have you replaced the rubber grommet that the PCV valve mounts in? Both the grommets and the rubber hoses tend to get quite brittle with age and can cause leaks.
