My 1993 Mazda Rx7

I have had this car for about 7 years now and it has come along way! It is currently stripped down to the chassis for paint, so it will be a while before it is back on the road!

2002 F body ls1
ls6 intake
ls6 heads
232/237 590/590 112lsa comp cam
JRT 1 3/4" longtubes
Comp push rods
Comp 918 valve springs
Harris Speedworks nitrous plate kit
Hinson Supercars Front subframe, radiator, 3.5" CIA, bump steer tie rod ends, torque arm
Wilwood 1 7/8 clutch master cylinder
Spec 3 clutch
Tokico 5 way ajustable struts
Eibach springs
rx7store.com delrin differential bushings, cnc toe links, cnc trailing arms
JDM turbo 2 clutch-style differential
3:90 rear gear

Recent engine bay pic before I pulled it out again.

How it looks now.

Pretty sad I can't drive it, but it was old and busted, and needed a fresh look!

Are you planning to shave the engine bay before paint? It will look super clean and it isn't to hard to do. time consuming but not hard.

Yes I am shaving the bay, I am about half way through the painful process. The rotary motor had 22k on it before it let go of a seal. This Chevy motor makes 580whp on pump gas and weighs 80lbs less than the rotary while yielding a better front to rear weight distribution over stock. Not to mention that weighing in at 2675lbs it gets 28 highway MPG with the t56 and 3:90 rear gear. I sometimes miss the rotary but this engine is way more practical for what I am trying to achieve. Thanks for the compliments gentlemen.
