Exclamation cant get rid of low oil pressure!!

So my fiance has a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta.

Shortly after we bought it the low oil pressure light started flashing and beeping.

I have replaced the oil pressure sending unit, oil pump, took the oil pan off and cleaned the pick up tube and cleaned out the oil pan, had a little bit of sludge, but nothing major. Ran some sea foam in the oil at idle for about 25 minutes before cleaning as a hope to help anything not in the pan to drain out better.

I have tried 3 different oil filters. even bought a k&n filter hoping it would flow better and still has the oil pressure light on.

Im scared its going to cause the engine to fail.

Any ideas of what might cure this?

Temporarily install a mechanical pressure guage to an oil galley and determine what the true oil pressure is.

Does the engine knock or rattle like the pressure is truly low?

How many miles on the engine and what weight oil is in it??

it has like 130k, no knocking or rattling, noise that sounds like valve tick, but i think its the injectors like on the 3vze. it runs like a top, very smooth.

Ive tried 5w40, 5w30, 10w30, and 10w40.

all have the same issue.

it comes on most in stop and go style driving. not so much at higher rpms like highway driving.
at first it was every now and then. seems like it is always on now though.

I was thinking maybe all the bearing are worn out and it cant build pressure.
Maybe it has enough flow to lubricate properly but not build pressure?

If the pressure is truly low, the engine is not likely to last.

The mechanical pressure guage will tell the tale.
