'93 Eclipse GSX bought it in '95 stock with 195hp and ran 14.9 in the 1/4.

250+ more crankhorses and ran mid 12s down in Texas and 12.9 up here at 5800ft (stock it ran 15.8s) which was a couple ticks ahead of a Viper GTS. 400+ strip runs in 8 years on the stock bottomend and stock tranny with a racing clutch;just bigger turbo and fuel mods.

I had to retire it in '94 as the engine was getting tired so I sold it to a friend who rarely drove it and just kept it garaged but I recently bought it back and now it resides in storage and plan on doing a rebuild and keeping it as a collectible since in 3 years it becomes a "classic".

I'm so glad I was into import racing when it was in it's infancy and was a grassroots movement since it was more fun back in the day and just isn't the same today.

yeah I feel you on the old school import racing, I was there as well No crankwalk is pretty amazing on that old DSM, had one for a minute there but flipped it - sold it - for about 2 g's more than I got it for so didn't have it long

Hey you got a pic of that 77 celica? That was my first car. WishI still had it, woulda been autocrossing it by now. I thought mine was EFI though, now I am doubting it.
77 Celicas never came with EFI. the earliest Celica with EFI I believe was the 80 Celica Supra, however 79 might have had EFI too.

My 77 is a MAJOR work in progress right now.

Yeah my celica's body was in really good condition, It was yellow too., Had a fuel pump issue along with a few electrical gremlins. I wish I knew in High School what I know now.

I love those old Eclipse/Talons too.

It's changed hands 2-3 times since I sold it in 05. My friend ironically had a class with the current owner. Going to check it out this summer in Flagstaff.

Certainly doesn't look like this anymore... Ass bag sold the mega super rare collector's item Comptech intake and filter, and the mega rare Enkei ER-01s I sold it with. People are dumb.

it's not photoshopped, and if you look close at the passenger side you will see the tip of the other stack, and if you look under the cab/bed area you will see the piping that goes into the stack, it was a very expensive and time consuming setup compared to the regular stack kits sold

FNG here. its nothing special but getting to be fun to drive.
97 chevy 1500 with a 95 caprice 9c1 LT1 and 9.5" 14 bolt rear. its all just a bunch of junkyard parts but goes eleventy billion times better than the 4.3 that was in it. still need to finish a bunch of stuff up, but at least its a driver.

Well, it's not mine, but the girlfriend lets me play with her '98 Durango a little. make it a little better for her. between fixing all the things wrong with it, i've added a home made intake with a k&n cone, and a flowmaster. kinda fun to play with somethin other than a yota. sadly, she still wont let me touch her 07 pontiac...
