01' Chevy ZR2

Anybody else on here a zr2 fan? This ones mine, i'm also a member over on zr2usa. There's a ton of other z's that are wayy more built that this one. But this is my baby just some slight lift and some 33 12.50 km2's. Starting to get a parts pile for a dana 44 swap this winter/next spring.

what was different about the zr2's over the factory 4x4's? i heard it was a body lift and 31's stock. i've always liked s10s, just wish the quality was better.

The 31's stock and a I believe it's a 1.5 suspension lift, no body lift. Slightly wider frame i've been told but never actually compared it to a regular 4x4. The body with the flares it about the only physical difference body wise.

The Zr2 is slightly wider. I was broke so swaped regular s10 diffs in mine and it was skinnier in the rear. Also different ratios. Cooler skid plates. Rear discs. And i think limited slip but almost all that you could get as an option on the same year s10. I really miss my zr2 and the power. After you redo the intake gaskets and ditch dexcrap its a good rig! And sand or rough wheeling destroys the front diff! Thats how i learned all this lol

Yea I love my zr2 but still can't wait to get my 4runner going so I can stop driving it every day and get some parts for the sfa. First thing I did was swap the intake gaskets and coolant and no problems since then.
