honda atv

the honda 250x's you were talking about are real nice bikes. the 87 ones(have gray plastic) are known for having tranny problems 2nd gear goes out. they all do it bad design. get a 91-92 they have blue plastic and they redesigned the tranny no problems. i'd recomend a 300ex there electric start and are torquer since they have the bigger piston. they started making them in 1993 and still make them now. a 1993 you should be able to get pretty cheap. if you really want something fast get a 86-89 trx 250r they are a 2 stroke liquid cooled. they do 75 mph stock 250x's only do about 60.

I dont mind the kick start at all. Ive been riding my friends 87 250 and that thing is super fast but 3rd is gone so you gotta skip it. Its running interco super swampers in the rear. Hes going to tear it down this summer and rebuild it. I want something like it in the below 900 buck range. He bought his for 500.
