okay so i get this bike on trade for my ktm 450sx..
why? well i figured i would get more use out of it, and my second vehichle is getting a new drivetrain..
so about the bike:
08 yamaha wr250r
fully street legal
fuel injected 250cc 4 stroke, 70mpg
a little heavy for a dirt bike (270lb dry)
11" of travel front and rear(like 10.9 but yeah)
well its a dirtbike that you can drive to work/school/trails... ect.
been cruisin back and forth to work on it for about a week or so. for the first time i got a chance to go hit some dirt, threy my ridin bootsand meh helmet on filled up my cammel pack and left my driveway to this gravel pit a few miles from my house...
on the road its a little under powered, it will do freeway speeds just fine but its no speed deamon. off road, i have to say it does great! enough power to climb hills, pop of jumps, and power through woops at 40mph(thanks speedo )
anyway just wanted to share how much fun these bikes are,
a little pricey, but fun as hell..
here's a link to the page at yamaha.
