I've gone through the classifieds here and have seen quite a few amazing rigs for sale... but they're all a bit out of my price / distance range.

Must have (if not = deal breaker):
Running / driving
4cyl
5spd
working 4x4
clean title
smog-able.
known history (i.e. when the HG and t-belt were done)
California or desert southwest car.

Will drive a few hours to pick it up, but I am Los Angeles based.

I've been scouring autotrader, craigslist, lurking on these forums (etc) and haven't quite encountered anything do-able yet.
