I updated mine unit to a 4.56 gears coming off a '94 V6 4Runner. I think as long as yours is a V6 8 inch, the unit would fit. However, I cannot gaurantee that it will since my knowledge is fairly limited.

ok thanks for the info but I think 4.10's would be better for my combination.
