timing chain cover

ive got a brand new timing chain cover for a 22r engine i was going to put it on my truck but it didnt fit

make me an offer

What brand?...and why didnt it fit...were you trying to put it on an RE or something?

Not sure of the brand but i was told that there was supposedly two size blocks a short and a tall the cover fits a short mine is a tall i had never heard of this till it happened

tall is 79-83 and short is 84 up

well mines an 84 but it needed the tall

the early 84 and lower is tall, and the later 84 and up has a 2mm lower deck height. just to get things straight.
