i have a few OLD ford and chevy valve covers i have been collecting over the years that should probably bead media blasted of some sort to get the surface rust off. Any idea what you would charge for something like that? Would it help the cause still or is it too late?

Yeh it would actually get all of the rust out of the metal so you could put a coat of paint or powder coat on. I could blast them for $15/valve pan. If you aren't around in the area we would have to check on shipping for ya. You gotta be careful about blasting and letting them sit for a while because its bare exposed metal and it needs a topcoat over it to protect the metal. Just a heads up....thanks for inquiring!

Sorry Matt didn't see ya...yeh I sandblast. I can order different kinds of blasting media for different surfaces if needed. This blast cabinet works like a dream.

resend that PM, my box was full. Let me see what I can do, I will have to dig them out of my parent's garage, they have been buried up there for about 4 years. How big is the blaster you purchased? What kind of time frame are you looking at right now?

My blaster has an inside dimension of 24"x36". So pretty good size for most small parts that would fit in my oven. My time frame is dependent upon you...whenever you can get them to me, the sooner I can get them done and make some extra cash to keep me alive. In 2 weeks I get my GI Bill which will save me...but when I pay off all past due bills I will be down low again. So the next 3 weeks at the longest...if that makes sense. I really wanna keep this business because I can do alot with it...but I seriously think its the location. Just let me know that way I can have your stuff ready when it gets here. Thanks again...

Man, I wish I lived closer to ya man. I would send my subaru rims down to ya. I believe I'm getting another job this friday so my first paycheck, I'll send ya down 50 bucks, I knwo it's nothing, but it's something to someone who makes quality products. Hang in there, and if you need anything, I know you barely know me, but shoot me a PM, I love helping people if I can.

I am sorry to hear about it j, and I hope that everything works out for the best. If I had the money myself, I would be sending you quite a bit of things to paint up for me. We've got a small engine repair business, and we don't get that many calls about it. Good luck, and hope that life will start throwing lemons in the form of green paper with past presidents on the tops your way.

I guarantee you will get more business in roanoke (and not just from me). Especially once you get the ceramic coating down, no one in the area does ceramic coating that I am aware of and there is one other powdercoater but his turn around time sucks.
