I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to let my V6 ‘runner go. After owning it for a year and a half, driving it to Montana, Oregon, California and north into Canada I’ve decided that I want to move down to a 4cyl 4runner. I love the torque and smoothness of the 6; however I’ve found that for me it’s just not practical to work on should it break down on the side of the road. I want the simplicity of the 22r back!
The stats:
- 236,000miles
- V6 5speed
- New Clutch
- Primer Gray out, red interior,
- New head gaskets <4000miles
- Water pump, t-belt idler, t-belt, knock sensor
- K/N filter charger
- Total tune up at time of head gaskets
- MileMarker hubs
- 3” body lift, slight t-bar crank, longer shackles, add-a-leafs
- ES 3000 shocks in back
- Custom rear bumper
- Downey headers, MagnaFlow HiFlo cat, Flowmaster 50series Muffler
- 2.25 pipes into single 2.5” out the back
- Brushwacker Fender Flares
- A/C, Cruise Control, Tach Temp Oil Charge, Bucket seats front, Split folding rear
- 5 33x12.5 BFG Mud TA/KO 3@90% 2@99% all on matching black rims
- Pioneer CD head w/organic EL display and Pioneer speakers front and back
- The only rust is in the door jams the best i've seen, one dent on passenger side door/ quarterpannel
I love my 4runner and hate to see it go, lots of fond memories here… I would be open to trade up or down on a 4cyl stock or modified 4runner of any year….Seattle Area... Asking $3000 with system, 2750 w/o...
