It's probably a question to ask in another thread, but what do you guys with the 3rd gens set the tank settings to? Mine holds 18.5 gallons so I rounded up to 19. Would it be better at 18 or 19?

According to the instruction book you should set it to 18.

Nope, OBDII only exists on 96 and later vehicles.

For those of you with the cup holder in the dash, depending on how large of cups you use you may can mount them on the flat part of the holder. That's what I did for mine, it's both convenient and easier to glance at (for me anyways) than on the top of the dash. I thought of mounting it to the top of the steering column but I don't like not being able to see any lights if they were to come on.

Well I accidentally caught my oil change people took my truck for a ride up to 80mph when all the roads within 20 miles are 45-60. I know the manager so I might bring it up with him, I know he doesn't want any of the kids working there to wreck or get a ticket.

??? You did this via the SGII's MAX function? Why did the oil change people even take your truck out? Do you leave it with them? (i.e., you don't use a Jiffy Lube style place)

Yea, I found it using the max function. I'm not gonna talk to the manager, I'll see if it happens again. I'm not 100% sure that it wasn't me and I wouldn't want to get someone in trouble for no reason. I was racking my brain trying to see if it could have been me, and I remember on the way to the shop there was a great looking Tundra ahead of me that had a lift, so I sped up a little to get along side it, I'm 99% sure I didn't reach 80 (and almost 4k RPM), but not sure enough to complain

The shop I take my truck to usually test drives it to make sure that everything is in working order.

Last few days for group buy on ScanGauge II

Head on over here to get a good deal on a Scan Gauge II device. Currently we are at 30 units with a great deal and if we hit 40 units it will be even better.
