Guy I know just picked this up out of a wrecking yard. Body is pretty darn straight and clean, with no rust issues. Mileage around 125, engine seems to be locked up. All original under hood, including smog, nothing tampered with. 20R of course. Factory A/C, PS, SR5 bucket seat interior with console guages, etc, it's white. Basically needs everything, but is a non rusty first gen truck. No idea of transfer, trans condition. Interior filthy but intact. Some kids probably were jumping on the roof, but no indication of roll, and it's repairable. Tow bar attached. When picking it up, the DS was either loosely bolted, or something, and it took out the fuel tank (put a gash in it.) NOW...is it worth a grand? Anyone want to step up? Located 79762 Tx

With out pictures it sounds like a $250 truck. Depending on which end the drive shaft and which F/R? DS fell out-Transfer case end or pumpkin end
and I am pretty sure an SR-5, and being an 82 should have had a 22r...

 

Sold locally in about an hour for 800. (wasn't, and isn't, mine!)
