your rig would sell for $5000 in a heart beat here in BC, Canada.

hey, it's ship-able! Someone up there should buy it and have it shipped there! Doesn't have the rust you'd see from a rig with years of driving on winter salted roads!

o.k. thanks...the distance is the big problem for me. I don't like to fly & gas is too expensive; I could figure something out if it came down to it though.

I'm sure there are somewhere; all the ones I've contacted for quotes were pretty high when I was looking on e-Bay at vehicles, air fare, round trip fuel or shipping was all comparable. I'm looking at an '87 locally, still unsure & shopping around. Your's looks like it's a decent rig & pretty close to what I'm looking for in one though.

let me know. I'd be happy to try to locate a shipper for ya too.

FWIW, Southwest flights are about $300 round trip on business class....as low as like $79, and they fly into Tampa (which is like 45mins from me)

Since you've gone with the SAS and 5.29s....does the engine wind out on the highway pretty hard with the 31s? What size tire did you plan to run or did you always have 31's in mind? If 31's why not less lift in the front?

What's this thing like as a daily driver (most folks pull double duty with their rigs)? Other than being bumpier than IFS (not a problem for a real truck enthusiast) any swaying or shimming? Can you take the highway to the trailhead? How clean is the interior?

This looks like a great truck. Why are you selling?

very good questions.

First: yes, highway to trail for sure. That's how I did it, I don't have a tow rig. A/c works great, but I mostly opened the windows and sunroof
It really doesn't wind out on the highway, the 5.29's don't affect it that much. I had intended on running 35's but never got the money for 'em.

As for swaying, it's mainly lean in turns thanks to the SAS. Pretty normal for SAS, nothing outrageous or scary. Obviously it doesn't street handle like a sports car, so I drove it accordingly. And I just try to avoid most big bumps at speed, as usual. 60-65mph on the highway was just fine. Anything more than that and it swallows fuel like they normally do anyways, but it feels good and comfortable at 60-65.

I daily drove it for a while until my wife got a job a block from my office, so we car pool our honda.

As for lift in the front, it's the 4" kit, I figured going 3" would necessitate a spring change later on when a rear leaf swap is completed. It's not as radical looking in person as the pics.

If you PM me your email I'd be happy to email over interior pics I took last week. Seats are pretty darn clean, and I've got rubber floormats in there to protect the carpet as much as possible.

Selling because I just don't use it as much as I'd like to, and rather than leave it sitting in my garage for 2-3 weeks at a time, I could use that space for something else. Since we just bought the house I've had some priority changes

Not a stupid question.

SRQ is the ICAO identifier for Sarasota airport. Sarasota, just south of Tampa

I'm squirming in my chair right now...

You've offered a very fair price for everything that's on it, and I've got just the truck you are looking for!

Wifey said no last night. If I didn't want nookie as frequently as I do I'd just head out on I-75 southbound and swap titles!!

Man I hate missing out on good deals! Somebody buy this truck and put me out of my misery and give Mike some cash!!!
