Well, been thinkin about gettin me an older taco (much more partial to p/u's than suv's) with a sfa already on it. Anyhoo, if I do that I'll be sellin the Swamp Thing. I aint really have a clue as to what I should ask for it, cause I bought it for $500 back when it was stock and did most of the work myself, so I'm just wonderin what the good folks here at yotatech would "pay" for it.
Anyhoo, here's the rundown on er:
Production date is October of 1988, so the body style is 88, but all engine parts are 89 (at lease thats what year body parts I went with when I bought the hood, front quarter-panels, and doors. They 89 body parts just didnt look right.)
It's about to hit it's 199k mile in another 300 miles, but had the engine (22re) rebuilt 30k miles ago. Ended up having the block painted royal purple (ran out of the hi-temp kawa green that I used on my dirtbike) when the engine was being rebuilt. Replaced the timing guides with steel ones. Replaced the clutch when the engine was rebuilt. Has the Centerforce Stage 2 clutch. Flywheel was good, but had it machined anyways since I was already there. As you probably already guessed, it's a 5speed (with a really nice and expensive leather shifter knob lol).
Has 4.88 gears front and rear. Aisin front manual locking hubs. Locked up the rear end (welded method... didn't feel like spending $300 for a locker when I could just buy a friend a case of beer and have it done for free).
Top of cab and removable top have both been line-x'ed (forget the name of autozone's version of line-x, but its the roll on kind that you can buy) black. Have a weather-proof black leather soft top made for me by some friends with a pro lookin mounting system for summer driving (which is on most of the year since I'm in southern texas lol). All carpet has been removed.
Has a Sony Explode deck and speakers. 44 channel radioshack CB/PA, whip mag mounted on bumper, and a megaphone thats bigger than the battery mounted under the hood that you can hear windows up driving 80mph 10 cars ahead of you. Perfect for yellin at pretty girls. No horn, use the PA instead. Has a K&N fipk that's been highly redneck-ized. Air box is M.I.A., but use a prefilter when at the beach and wheelin. Has 33x12.50x15 Pro Comp Xterrains mounted on some blackouts that I had layin around (forgot brand).
Has 2" blocks, 1" poly body spacers, and the torsion bars are cranked about 2" (pretty stiff sus, but entirely drivable and flex's great). Has a one of a kind front end replacement fab by my friends at outback offroad. Powder coated black. 2x 5" chrome 100watt field lights. Seats custom upholstered with weather-proof black leather with poly ass grooves, and kawa green shockboots around the headrest posts.
Just redid the exhast to 2.5" straight pipe still with no cat, and some kind of Magnaflow that I took off my K5 that now has straight dual dump-offs.
Anyhoo, thats all I can think of off the top of my head. I'll put some pictures that I can find, but have more on my phone that I'll put up sometime later when I figure out how to get em off my phone lol...
So, how much would yall folks think you would get for my runner if it was yours?
Note, most of these are pretty old pictures...

I too am looking for a p/u apparently along with many others. For some reason most p/u's sell for a decent bit more then 4rnr's. I think you should be able to get at least 1200-1400 for it.
