Dismantling 1988 4runner Newton NJ 07860
Truck is base DLX model, minimal options. 4cyl 5 speed. Red exterior, gray interior. Truck spent over half of its life in Florida so no NJ rust issues. Truck is totaled, bent frame. Hit was to left front end. That being said, many good parts remain on it.
Exterior parts available:
Red hard top shell excellent $325.
Driver and passenger doors excellent, no power, with hinges, rust free all around $145 each.
Cowl panel $20.
Hood slightly bent but locks down good for crawler, woods machine $20.
Roof skin, no sunroof can cut at base of A pillar or wherever $25.
Tailgate minimal rust, no motor otherwise complete with glass (tailgate in this picture is not the one that I am selling) $125.
Rust free rocker panels cut where you want $25 pair.
Quarter panels not available.
Swing away door mirrors $40 pair.
Aluminum running boards $75 pair.
No bumpers at all!
Windshield $25.
Complete a/c set up $50.
Complete gray interior:
Complete interior, all components listed below, $185 or as follows:
Door panels $50 pair.
Rear passenger area interior panels $45 pair.
Cargo area panels $15 pair (rough, 4" speaker holes no access doors included).
Front buckets $35 ( rough, wear and tear).
Rear jump seats with all attaching parts $50 pair.
Full set of carpets need cleaning $20.
All interior plastics from dash (dashboard split) area $25.
Shifter console, no arm rest $60.
No tailgate plastics avail, no hardtop plastics available.
Drive train:
Runs but undriveable due to front end damage, was driven to the accident though: 22re jasper rebuilt long block motor installed 9/11/12. 670 verifiable miles! Odometer reading and install receipts for proof (motor new from Jasper was $2600). 5 speed, new clutch, throw out bearing newer input and output bearings in trans, t-case, rear drive shaft and rear end. I have run the motor for about an hour or so on jack stands taken it thru the gears, although due to the accident damage I will not put it in 4wd since front A-arm was hit. I have taken video to verify as motor will be pulled this week.
I prefer to sell entire driveline for $1500 (motor with all brackets, accessories and wiring attached (install and plug and go!), motor mounts, trans, transfer case, drive shaft, rear end and all hardware). If I break up prices as follow:
Motor $1100, 5 speed trans, clutch $200, transfer case $200, drive shaft $50, rear end $100.
Master cylinder $25.
Brand new radiator/used shroud $75 set.
All under hood accessories available, please inquire.
Components other than motor have 166,000 miles on them.
I am willing to remove, sawzall or pull anything on this truck. I am dismantling this with care, all attaching parts and hardware come with each component. As far as shipping goes, it will be limited to smaller items only as larger ones get to be cost prohibitive. I do pay pal. The parts listed in ad are what I have available, if I missed listing the parts that you need try me. Some parts not listed I am keeping for my rebuild.
For my build I am looking for a complete soft top, 33” or 32”x10.5 x 15” tires, a clean rust free drivers front fender and a power antenna, v6 fan shroud, so possible exchanges for parts. Can send pictures of parts to you. PM for any details.

Saw your build thread, great looking truck you bought.
I'd be interested in the kick panel fuse block, looks like the PO may have burned up my EFI fuse circuitry. Also need the rubber floor plug behind the driver's seat, and the one that is in the passenger side rear cargo cubby.
Thanks.
