These are the conversion lights I went with this spring. Here is a picture of one of them on my truck.

I'll post a pic of my Bosches in the morning...
superjoe those are the round versions of the rectangle ones i'm talking about...
E-type not to rain on your party but those look very similar to the APC ones people were complaining about. like super joe said get in front of a door and check your spread patterns if they are not crisp and clean then you may end up with a glare issue with the HIDs....
If it comes to that the Bosch/Hella conversion kits are not that expensive... the Bosches were $90CDN a pair at Canadian Tire. The Hellas cost a bit more I think.

Cool! So the sealed beam guys do have options to get better lighting. And from what I've gathered, it's relatively inexpensive too.
Btw,
Update: The order has been placed.
I will continue updating as updates come.

I'll try to get a pic this week, but the lights have a very sharp cutoff, with no glare or bleed off from the cutoff line. These are high quality lights, and were built right

Here are the stock roundeye lights, sorry its not against a white wall.
Low beams

High beams

Low beams with a slight side angle

Low beams head on, slightly above the lights.

High beams head on, slightly above the lights.

I will take pics once I get the HID kit and install the bulbs.

I think that looks pretty darn good man! Cameras usually make the pictures look like they glare like hell, but doesn't look like any of that's going on. The cut off is also pretty clear.

They work great and have a very sharp cutoff, actually they don't bleed as much light up as I would like. If street signs are posted to high up, I hardly illuminate them. These are DOT approved housings too, unlike the Bosh and Hella's which are to Europe specs.

Cool E-type they actually look great! FWIW those APC ones have three lines across the lens and what looked like an almost smooth reflector surface.
The E-spec lights have a sharp cut off as well except that they include a noticeable "kick-up 'bleed' " on the right side to illuminate street signs and the like.

EtypeR - that's actually the best damn cutoff in a halogen light ive ever seen. When you factor in that its a reflector and not a projector that's even MORE impressive!!
THOSE reflectors would be great with an HID kit, still not as good as a true HID retrofit, but still quite good.
I cant wait to get my TL BiXenons!

Sorry Andrey, I've already made the bulk order. The next order will likely be around Christmas though.
Update: There was a little issue with the wire transfer, we are expecting the kits to arrive in the US in the end of this week!

The wire is still having issues. They are telling me they still haven't seen the money in their account. I will talk to the bank to see if there were any delays and I will also keep asking them to check their bank account to see if they see the money.
I really can't do much more than that on my end. I really really apologize for this delay. I have no clue why this is taking so long. I will continue to update you guys as I continue to receive info.

So the order has not even been placed yet? Sorry to be the jerk, but this seems a little shady.

I am interested in hearing something as well. In my experience with wire transfers they are sent and received. If I recall I was always provided confirmation that transfer went through. I have never heard of them getting lost. I would think that if it didn't go through the sending party would know and take the appropriate action.
