1998 4-runner 4

Reason for selling - found and bought a one owner 08 4-Runner with 3rd row seat exactly as desired (limited, V6, 4x4)

Owned since 80k miles. Mostly highway / freeway miles with an occasional gravel road and towing a small ski boat to the nearby lake.

Maintained with the expectation of keeping to 300k but had eyes open for 4th gen V6 with 3rd row.

At 200k replaced the following with parts from the Toyota dealer:
Timing belt
Water pump
Cam seals
Brakes & Brake fluid (front & rear)
Shocks & struts
Belts

Valve cover gaskets (? 190k)
Radiator (? 230k)

Everything works. No mods except radio. Seats are town and missing front passenger trim from running board to fender flare due to a blow out. Haven't tracked down a used one and the local dealer says they can't get.

Just had the original ball joints replaced this week as well as brake job (new pads and turned the rotors). Ready to drive anywhere and everywhere.

Has factory locking rear diff and 4x4 works fine.

Just put new ball joints on (original ones made it to 250k) and had new pads put on the front and the rotors turned.

This is a great looking and great driving vehicle for $4,400 obo.

Sold it for $3,500. Had it on Craigslist, newspaper, Autotrader and set out by the highway. Sold it to someone who drove past and saw it. : )
