'95 4-Runner 4x4 SR5 V6 For Sale New York
This is a '95 4-Runner 3.0 V-6, Automatic Tranny, 4WD almost 167k miles located in New York City, my daily driver. Living here makes it kind of silly to have a truck. For more pictures send me an email and I will forward more shots to you. Here is the info.
New Timing Belt and Water Pump only 3k ago!
New front brake pads 2k ago rear ABS light is on though
Rebuilt rear axle, bearings and seals about 10k ago
New starter about 9k ago
Regular oil changes every 3-4k from me
Engine runs but needs a tune-up. I put some new plugs in it after I did the Timimg Belt and it has a K&N Air Filter but I think the lack of a Cat is causing it to stutter a bit. Also the check engine light is on, code 17 I think.
Trans - Never misses a beat. I have towed a trailer with this with no problems. I just put new U-Joints in the rear shaft, everything is smooth. The rear end was rebuilt not to long ago either. Ready for several years of dedicated service.
4WD works great, got me out of the snow every time this and last winter without a problem. Got to love it when every other person on the street is digging their car out of the snow in the morning to go to work and all you have to do is drop into 4 and pow!
Interior - SR5 sport package looks good for a truck from Florida with 160k on it. The windows are tinted dark and the A/C works good. Someone tried to steal the stereo a couple months back and they scratched up the dash a little but not to bad. There are a couple of tears in the driver seat and a couple of cracks in the dash. Other than that not to bad.
Exterior - A bit rough but hardly any rust. A few little dents here and there, it needs a new tailight lens and front bumper signal light lens. The rear bumber needs some attention, one side I had to take off because someone bumped into it and pushed it to close to the rear wheel for my comfort. I still have the peice but it needs some work. The paint is faded in many spost, Black but not to terrible.
Here are the things that need some attention:
Leaks coolant - not sure where from, I just replaced the timing belt and water pump about 3k ago, I don't think its the weep on the water pump I think that the seal on the pump might have gave somewhere.
Check engine light is on - I get code 17 or 71 cant remember emissions control whichever number that is.
Catalitic Converter stolen I just filled in the blank with a peice of pipe and put a glass pack on it, nice exhaust note!
Body is a little tired. People in New York City are not very respectul of other peoples vehicles so it has been run into a couple of times. Back and pass side bumper need some work. One tail light lens is broken, one front signal light lens is broken. Several small dents and scratches.
Tires have some miles on them, probably due for a change before next winter.
I think that with the car I will also include my creeper, 1.5 ton floor jack and stands, hayes repair manual, spare water pump but I think its the wrong one, grease gun, Toyota Offical Repair Manual on CD, bottle of windsheild waiper fluid, some other cleaning stuff, Reese hitch, and I have some other odds and ends that might come in handy as well.
This will be a local pick-up unlesss you arrange your own shipping. Once it is sold I can only keep it on my street for so long, end of May. After that I can't store it anymore and you will be responsible for getting it out of here.
I have it listed on Ebay here is the Link:
