89 Toyota PU, short box/reg cab, 4x4

Well, here is my 1989 Toyota Deluxe pick-up 4x4. I kinda just throwing it out there to see what I can get for it, would like cash or a trade would work too. It's a good truck, runs great. It is rusty like any Toyota truck would be, I'm sure you have all seen them a lot worse than this one. Actually you think it would be worse seeing that its a DD driven MI truck. It's a 5-speed, and has manual locking hubs for the 4WD. I found out that it was a Deluxe model cause of the brakes I had to order for it, it has dual piston calipers instead of single piston. It has the 22RE motor. The manual window regulators are tired and you sometimes have to help the window up. The guy I bought the truck from said the owner before him had the motor rebuilt and the odometer was disconnected, and so was the gas gauge. Since he bought it for his youngest son he never worried about it.........He said by the mileage the last told him it was and what mileage his son had put on it was around 150,000 total mileage, I'm guessing more. But, it's a Toyota. I've been replacing some things, and will continue if nobody is interested. I have a clean title in hand....and I give VIN if needed. Cause I really like the truck.......Here are some of the things I've added and replaced since I got it.....
-new battery
-new starter
-new tires 265/70R17's(Bridgestone Dueler AT) $800 (Include warranty, w/reciept)
-New brakes(on front), replaced calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, pad pins, pad clips. Had a couple of hard lines on the rear that were looking pretty rusty so replaced them too....Also had rear drums checked they were OK.
-new exhaust
-new clutch master cylinder
-new clutch slave cylinder
-tune up just done....new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter
-new AFS(air flow sensor)
It also has these items....
-Reese hitch
-Sony CD player
-Crager 17" wheels(don't really like them but they came with the truck

Here are some pics................$2000 OBO(I will not deliver anywhere)
I'm located in Jackson, MI 49203, # 517-315-1601 Jeff
A lot of pics, I want everyone to see the truck as good as possible, so nothing is hidden.

Like I said I live in Michigan, we have a winter here............with salt on the roads. Do you want me to undercoat the truck? I can have my buddy do it for the cost of material........Thanks for the negative comments , maybe you shouldn't talk on other people's threads.....Just a thought, since its my thread.

Any pics of the frame? I guarantee it is rotted through. I had an 87 and I washed the living crap out of it evan washed in the frame rails and it rotted. I know what Michigan is like cause I live in NY.

No....sorry it's not rotted through. I had it on the lift(I check every spot with a punch and hammer to make sure nothing was completely rotted)......most of the black coated is still on the frame under the body, its started to come off by the back wheels wells, and around the ifs brackets. The rest of it has rust......back axle as you can see, leaf springs, ect. I've let people know that its rusty.......But I also also checked the truck over before I bought it, and have replaced any bad parts. I wouldn't of bought it with a rotted frame, if I don't sell it this winter, I'm pulling the truck apart and going to through the whole thing next summer. I don't really car if anyone wants to buy it, just throwing it out there( I have a few other cars).

down south people just dont know how hard it is to find a nice yota up here... im in canada and when i took my new to me 93 the garage couldnt belive how clean it was... that truck looks like most yotas i see kickin in canada.. with some elbow grease and paint it would be a nice 4X4 pickup but the wheels are so ugly it turns me off the truck

Yeah, I understand the mentality of the southern yota owner's....I was looking at the ones for sale down south, and they are all nice. They are also asking a lot more for them, but I would pay good money for a clean yota. I don't think the price is way out there, it runs perfect, doesn't burn oil, everything that matters is in working order. BTW, I got the wheels with the truck, although I did have to buy tires for them.
