I'm selling my 88runner. 259,xxx on chassis / 40k on motor. I'm the second owner. The first owner meticulously maintained this vehicle and has all records from May 1989-June 2004 (when I bought it), including the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER!

I have had it for a couple of years but just don't have the time to enjoy it. It definitely needs some work but mechanically it's in great shape as a off-road project or reliable daily driver.

Was driven back from Maryland to Ohio when I bought it and then a loger road trip from Ohio to South Carolina and back without issues- dependable!

The good:
-JASPER Factory Reman. engine done by orginal owner. Have recepit ($3800). Engine has approx 40k on it.
-Newer, manual locking hubs
-Tires less than 5,000 miles: BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO 31x10.5x15 w/Full size matching spare.
-Notable recent maintenance: Brake pads/calipers 10K ago , rear lift shackles 2K ago (By me). Exhaust, tailpipe, cat converter, rear shocks 10K ago, Plugs/wires, oil fresh
The bad:
-AC not working (Prob. just needs recharged- all components still there)
-Typical wheel well rust on rear pass side- was repaired by me (Done right- cut/riveted new sheetmetal, sealed & primered)
-Under driver's side rear seat, fixed rust in floor- again, done right w/ POR-15, new metal...etc
-Blaupunkt tape/FM needs re-wired
-No carpet
-Rear seat removed, converted to "flatbed" storage area. Functional- see pics
-Front seats bad shape
-Rear window motor dead, but glass is fine, all components there
-Real seal in T-Case has slight leak, just needs new seal
-Gas tank float not working

How is the frame?

 

Frame is perfect. This truck runs great, mechanically sound. Needs some work cosmetically but is ready to go.
