well i got it back from the mechanics today. all that was wrong is that it needed a maf braket. at a certain rpm the flap would give false readings due to vibration. damn. but the truck is a rocket now.

Want to trade for a 2004 Honda VFR800? It's worth at least $4400. Red.

If you're asking about the VFR, it's a 2004. Kelly Blue book is more like $6400 in excellent condition but mine has scratches in the plastic on both sides. Never wrecked, just dropped 3 times. The bike would look fine with some touch up paint and everything else is perfect. I don't ride anymore and want to get ride of the bike and my 1994 Chevy silverado extended cab. Looking to replace them with a toyota truck in the $3500 to $4000 range.

just offering a trade. i was looking for a turbo truck in nice shape. maybe i was willing to drive the distance to get one? maybe i just happen to go on trips to the west coast to unload toyota parts with a guy to this company called marlin crawler. you dont seem to have to much luck selling this thing so i dont know what your complaining about when someone offers you a trade, all you have to say is no thanks. maybe you didnt mean anything to come off in a bad way but thats what it sounded like, so sorry if im wrong. i found a new project already though...so nevermind my post anyway...

need help diagnosis

I am looking at a 1986 Toyota 4 WD 4Cyl,- 5speed Turbo EFI Pick-up, the owner claims not to much about engines but a mechanic friend of his told him that the vehicle is running rough because it needs a head gasket. What can i ask him to look for to prove this is the case before i make an offer? And would the turbo being bad make the engine run about as bad as it does with a blown head gasket? Now even further, can you tell me(if i drive to look at this vehicle) what to look at to see if the turbo is or is not working? thank you all,
shannan
