I have a 1986 2wd carb auto truck with 197k miles it has the extra cab option and a long bed. The tranny broke and i really dont have the time or money to fix it. by starts with a boost what exactly do you mean? do u have to jump it to get the motor started? might look into swappin a manual tranny in there. sounds like fun. lol

 

I mean that it starts really well and runs great (problems are a dent and bad auto tranny). What is your email? I can send you some pics ...
