ive got an 8" 4.10 rear carrier im selling. part#41110-35751 factory part#. came out of axle w/ bent axle tube. carrier appears to be still in good shape. i was thinking 4-5 hundred, shipping not included. this is a 1200 dollar part new. no pics available at this time. i will take and send pics for serius buyers. i think it came out of about a 2000 tacoma. not a locker.

 

do you have the yoke (female splined section), u-joint, and diff flange for sale?

 

it is the complete carrier. pinion flange and housing. no drive shaft parts. will go on ebay if no one on here wants it. i just thought i would give the yotatech members first dibbs.

Is their anyway to confirm that it's in working order? If I got it and it wasn't would you take it back? If so, we might be able to make a deal. How many miles on it? I'm assuming that it would fit a 99 4runner?

 

i can tell you it came out off a driving truck. it kept chewing axle seals. aftersome inspection the left axle tube was bent from a previous accident. im 99% the carrier is fine. there is no visible signs off any thing is wrong. but if you are truely interested we could work out something. and i dont see why it wouldnt work in your 99 runner,it came from a 99 or 2k taco. you can pm me for more info.

 

You sure it's an 8"? I thought the Taco's used an 8.4" unless e-locker equipped. I'm interested if it is definitely an 8"

 

it is deffinitly a 8 in. rear end 4.10 gears. according to toyota it used an 8" in both. your owners manuel will have that info. in the appindix. unless it is the locker. it will just have a diff. bolt pattern as far as i know

 

i checked w/ toyota parts depot. today to find out what all the diff. went in. it fits,
95-04 tacoma
93-98 t100
99- tundra
00- sequoia
all are 4x4. and to buy this carrier new is $1141.34. it is a 4.10 8in. carrier. sorry omnipotent, it will not work in 4-runner as i thought.
