Brian!
Make up your mind!!!
EDIT:
BTW, I'm enjoying the top you sold me
though I had to modify installation a little in order to get it to fit mine...

Peter,
I really just want the channel layout so I can attach something custom w/o having to refab that piece...so I don't have to reinvent the wheel so to speak. I can use it on my 85 AND my 87, but mostly on the 87 this summer...so two for the price of one.
I'll probably do something custom on the 85 with the exo...

I figure I'll send one to you since you're so cool...

Be patient young skywalker.
I got a brand new one wrapped up in plastic, but right now I got other stuff to do in preparation for SE4RJ3 this weekend. Perhaps next week...the channel is some kind of "common" piece, I just haven't figured out what it is exactly...but I will.

I kind of made my own channel (can't remeber which one I used though -scout, eb, heep??), but I didn't rebend the side curves so it was about 1-1/2 to 2" short on both sides....that's why I wanted 4xJedi to make & send me one. He's got the jig all made up to rebend the stock windshield channel.
The channel crosssection looks like this...& is attached to IIRC a 1.5 angle cut down to 1" on the side that attaches to the truck roof.

I'm thingking of getting the chanel for a FJ40. Do any of you know if I can make that fit... or should I just keep holding out for Jedi? What is the closest chanel to fit?

I will scroung through my receipts - think I got all my stuff from Windrock - & will report back..........preparing for the 85's first trip to the Badlands this weekend, so if you don't see it this week, be patient.
