Just bought a new project runner and I'm doing a 4.3 swap. The person I bought it from took the head off because he said he thought it might need a head gasket. I don't know anything about the engine. The walls look good. You can still see the cross hatching. Cam looks good, no unusual wear on the lobes. The owner did say it was not knocking and was not burning oil. It was leaking oil from the rear main and I'm sure from a few other spots. I know the odometer says 127K miles. Everything is there. I might have to keep the A/C compressor but I don't know yet. I'm looking for $300.00 for it. Buyer pays shipping. It comes with the wiring harness, ECM, and a brand new complete head gasket set. 816-606-4035 ask for Jeff.
