1989 4runner SAS

I know I'm new here, but I thought I'd post up my rig. It's an 89 4runner with 96,500 miles and runs great. 3.0 V6 and 5speed trans. Front suspension is all-pro swap kit with 5 inch springs. Rear suspension is all-pro with 6 inch springs. Tires are brand new 35/12.5/15 BF Goodrich MT/KM mounted on new 15x10 black rockcrawlers. Includes a brand new matching spare. Stock gears and open diffs. Recent new parts include spark plugs and wires, distirbutor cap and rotor, timing belt, timing idler pulleys, water pump, thermostat, brake master cylinder, drive belts and front and rear parking brake cables. Previous owner worked at a Toyota dealership and said he did the head gaskets under recall, but I can't verify it. The body is in decent condition for a northeastern yota. A few small rust holes in the sheetmetal and surface rust on the axles and frame. Frame is solid though, from front to back. Interior is good for an 18 year old truck. One small crack in the dash. The bad- both pinion seals leak, and the front driveshaft angle is kinda steep. The front driveshaft itselt is a cobbled together POS. Clunks a bit in 4WD. Needs a CV driveshaft. Looking to get $5000, but will listion to offers. Truck is located in western NY about 90 minutes east of Buffalo. Also have two new thirds that I'll sell with the truck, but not seperate at this time. A high pinion front and a V6 rear. Both are set-up with 529's and detroits. They were built by West Coast Differentials and have the double drilled flanges. I bought them off from a member of Pirate4x4. They were installed in his rig, but never even driven on. They are in new condition and retail for $2600. If bought with the truck I only want $2000 and I'll throw in two all-pro diff armor plates. I'm only selling this, because of having no time to work on it. Going back to school and working full time keeps me too busy to finish it. Any questions, please ask. Can e-mail more pics to anybody interested. Thanks...............Brian

Wow that is a red truck!
You might want to break out your key points as I had to read that paragraph 3 times to find all the information on the truck.
Good luck.

Sweet truck, but I'm with Wabbit, your paragraph is difficult to get the specs out of. It all runs together.

Sorry about the run on guys. Just trying to be accurate and list everything I know about the truck. The basics:

96,500 miles-runs strong

3.0 V6 with 5speed

allpro SAS kit- 5" front springs, 6" rear springs

several newer parts-see above

front driveshaft angle is pretty steep-probley needs cv driveshaft

both pinion seals leak

frame solid, body has a few bad spots-see above or can e-mail specific pics

5 brand new 35/12.5/15 Bf Goodrich KM/MT on new 15x10 Rockcrawlers

Also have a couple of newly built 3rds-high pinion front/V6 rear, both set up with 529's and detroits.

asking $5000 or B/O without 3rds, $7000 or B/O with 3rds

located in western New York............cell#585-519-9813.......Thanks, Brian

oh yeah, a whole lot of red!

I read that bright colors will put stress on the body and make one uncomfortable. maybe thats why driving my 4runner is so calming and enjoyable, it has a blue interior.
