Will New (2015) Tacoma/4runner Rims fit on a Stock 98 4runner?

Will New (2015) Tacoma/4runner Rims fit on a Stock 98 4runner?
I'm between either a set of 245/75R16 from a 2016 Tacoma ($600) or a set of 265/70-17 ($500) from a newer 4Runner.
All things considered I'd like to save a hundred bucks with the 17's but I'm wondering if there will be any rubbing issues or inaccuracy with the speedo since my 98 limited came with 16's.
Both wheel/tire sets are new with under 300 miles on them. Thoughts?
