uneven tire pressure front to rear?????????
I have been wondering why the 4runners say to run 26psi in the front and 35 in the rear. This seems odd to me and I was wondering if anyone could explain the reason for a truck with most of the weight in the front having a lower pressure rating than the rear. I am running procomp mt 33x12.5 and if anything it would make more sence to run the rear with less depending on load but ????????????? Thanks

I run 28 psi front and rear highway and 22-24 psi in town (crapy roads lol).
I just want to know why toyota wants people to put 26 psi in the front and 35 in the back with 225-75-15 tires.
Anyone?????

the rear has to be aired higher to meet the load rating. i run 40 pounds front and rear all the time with 30" BFG A/T's. ride is kinda truck like but the fuel mileage is allot better the 30 or lower.

Now i wonder what all the trucks say to run so could you guys please tell me what truck you have and what year and what psi they say to run with stock rubber.
Thanks for the input

I run 30 rear and 35 front on my 88 pickup, if Im towing or hauling Ill air the rears up. I ran this same pressure for the last 50,000 miles and my last set of Revos wore even across the tread!
