A/T 's or KM2's?
It's getting to that time, I need new tires before the snow starts flying.
Up here in Canada, I maybe have 4 or 5 weeks before winter hits.
I've decided that I want a 33" x 10.5 x R15.
As far as I know, BFG is the only one that makes that size.
I like the look of the fatter 12.5 tires but the 10.5 is all my poor IFS can handle and the military runs skinny tires (and they have a lot of trucks in a lot of different conditions).
So all I need to do is decide on the tire.
It's between the BFG A/T and the KM2's.
My rig is my DD and my only means of transport to and from work (other than bus).
Winter's are terrible out here. Packed snow and ice a lot of the time, other than that it's cold and salty roads.
I've heard great things about both of these tires.
A/T's are great in the snow and ice and last a decent amount of time. But it's rather limiting on the trail have much less tread depth than the KM2's.
A buddy of my has the KM2's, he says they were great in the winter and never had a problem with them. They aren't snow rated but are rated 3/5 on the snow (same as the A/T) according to offroaders.com

Can someone boil this down for me a bit?

I have cooper Discoverer S/T's, They're an A/T tire.
I got through some pretty nasty mudholes last year that lifted fullsize trucks w/ M/T's couldnt get through.
These things wear like diamonds, i still have like 75% tread on these and it's been like two years.

KM2's FTW...
No regret in buying mine. Just went trail riding with these bad boys and they had some wicked grip and did amazing in the puddles.
It's a 4x4, it should have the tires to suit that!
