So I have a 1993 pickup 2wd. Currently bone stock other than some faded warped fender flares and 15x10 inch DEEEP dish no spoke wheels that I bought it with. Plans for the near future is front coilovers, added and de arched real leafs, rear end, possibly tranny, and turbo kit. Just not sure about tire fitments on these wheels with a few inches of drop all around after suspension work. Anyone else running 15x10s on bone stock/lowered suspension? Any info would be helpful.
fitment looks pretty tight as it is. Are you going with a lower profile tire? May want to find some narrower wheels?
Yes fitment is pretty tight already I do have some rubbing issues making sharp slow turns or hitting really big bumps but otherwise its alright. I definitely think Im gonna try and go with a smaller sidewall of some kind I just dont know if adding width but less sidewall would make much of a difference. I currently have 255/70/15 in the rear and 235/70/15 in the front and I was told that a 295/50/15 would fit the wheels no problem and still be a little shorter. The only thing is thats a WIDE tire and Im not sure if that would cancel out the height difference fitment wise.
