Question on new BFG AT TA/KO's

I just got new BF Goodrich AT TA/KO's - 31/10.50/15's. Previously had BALD Bridgestone Dueler's (Not the Revos). Every time I accelerate in lower gears, no matter how slow, I can hear the back tires constantly "scratching." The grip is GREAT, but it seems like they're going to wear out too fast or something. Is this normal, or am I crazy?

It could just be more tire noise you are experiencing, louder than your old bald ones that were running smooth on the road.

I assure you, the BF AT's will go for a loooonnggg time. I've got 35,000 on mine now, and have over 50% tread left.

Like when you break them loose, but they don't squeal. They just kind of scratch. That's what it sounds like.

I thought that at first, but it's making the sound right off the line.
