I got them from SteveO, they are 4 American Racing AR767 4 3/8 BS. I think he custom orderd them to match the BS of the stock 3rd gen wheels. They don't even come close to the stock upper A arms, and they line up nicely with the edge of the "limited style" flares. Great Fit.

You can order them from the link. But I don't know if you can get the sale price. Maybe call and find out.

Wait....did you mean the rims are $90 or the tires?
If those were the rims, what was the tire price?

The Rims....

I wish the tires were only $90. I got the tires from a Firestone shop for $160 ea.

Looks good Paul, we'll have to get together again and compare new mods. I still have't seen the bumper either.

Damn, dude... I'm getting BFG AT KO's in a 285/75/16 D load range mounted on the truck for $162 a tire from Discount Tire. The 265's are $147. I went to a Firestone store and their prices are HIGH. Like WAY high. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but I have been shopping around a bit and that price seems really steep.

I agree Firestone is a Ripoff but they were the only ones with the Revos.

I had BFG KOs on my 93 Runner and they dry rotted at 40,000 long before the tread was worn (side walls and between the tread). And I did use Tire dressing on them.
So, I wanted to try a different brand. The sun eats up everything down here.

Hey no problem you got a great price up there. Discount Tires was sticking to their online prices for the BFGs down here - $166 for the 265s and $180 ea mounted for the 285 KOs down here. They quoted me $155 ea for the 265 Nittos so for me the Revos weren't that far off at $160.

Tires that haven't held up to the dry climate down here for myself and friends are:
Goodyears, Coopers, Pathfinders and BFGs. All started cracking before the tread worn down.
Tires that survive the dry climate are Michelins, Pirelli, Yokohama(if the tread lasts) and Bridgestones.

Let me know what the 285s do to your gas mileage. It was real tempting to go for that size.

What website are you looking at? The Discount Tire Direct website's prices are way higher than the retail website's prices for some reason.

Check out this page. Select your metro area, and then search by size. This is the main Discount Tire website.

Then, go to this page and do the same. This is the Discount Tire Direct web outlet site.

The store in my area honors and shows me the prices I see on the main Discount Tire website. That's what comes up in their pricing system when they show me a price. I would question the veracity of the people who run your local Discount Tire store. They shouldn't be quoting prices from the Discount Tire Direct site. I checked prices in your area and they are what I expected them to be and not the high prices you were quoted.

You could have gotten Yokahama Geolander AT+ II's in a 285/75/16 D for $150, or Nitto Terra Grappler's for $160 in the same size. The BFG's are the same price for your area as they are for mine in that size btw, and not the $180 they quoted you. Lying bastards...

I will let you know about the gas mileage changes, if any, when I get the tires put on. I have to wait for my suspension components to show up. Hopefully, they'll be here early next week.

Later.

I agree!!!

They were quoting the higher of the 2 prices for most of the tires I was interested in.

I'll have to see how Albuquerque Jim is doing mileage wise with his 285s

Thanks for the enlightenment Galen

They're all crooks.....LOL

WOW!

$155 for 265/75 Nitto's??? OMG! I got mine last Oct or Nov LOCALLY for only $112.95 each. Add for M/B + 8% tax and I was out the door for just under $540!

Uffff. I got a better deal than I thought!

That was a great price!!!!

So much for the crooked ripoff tires stores.

After driving about 60 miles the D rated Revos feel great.

Much more control in cornering with the 8 ply sidewall. They are well balanced for a heavy duty tire. Traction so far is like the BFG KOs I've had in the past but the REVOs are quiet...very quiet for an A/T tire. The ride is a bit firmer but I went from an SL to a D rated tire. I don't feel all the small cracks and pot holes that I used to on my drive to work.

With the new 8" wide wheels my runner has a wider stance than before. The tires and wheels now extend a bit outside the fender flares which looks better than having the tires inside or flush with the flairs.

Al,

You need to change your sig to reflect your new tires.
