Locking Hub Protectors

just bought my first offroader, 93 v6 5spd 4wd pickup, came lifted with pacer wheels and tires already, but it has these covers around the manual hubs sandwiched between the rim and lug nuts. problem is theyre dented on the drivers side, i cant find any info on a hub guard/cover/protector/shield except for bikes and big rigs searching google. does anybody know a manufacturer of these or is it custom?

those usually come with the wheels. I have never used any when I had aftermarket wheels as they are just another place for dirt to hang out.

Get rid of them, they will rust themselves to the hub and will be a pain to get off.

They do nothing but get dented up like you said...

I took a 20oz hammer to an aisin at the junkyard to get the cone washers out... Didn't do a whole lot of anything to it, and I've never hit the hub on a rock before. I've been running an assaulted pair of Aisin's on my truck for 3 years now - no problems..
