an adapter for tire balancing machine. Some swear you need it, my meats are like glass without the adapter

Cosco balansed my Duellers and they ride smooth. They do have a lug centric adapter if thats what the Haweka is.

 

Getting my tires mounted and balanced at Costco is not an opinion as I am putting on 265/75R16s instead of the Toyota's recommended 265/70R16s. Costco will not put on tires that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

 

Can someone tell me why exactly you'd want to give up the 10 extra mm's of width for a 75 series sidewall ????

 

The width is the same as stock but the sidewall is taller so you are just adding a height and not giving up any width.
