im just confused on why you cant spin you tires fast enough to clean them out. have you tried 2nd gear 4lo @ around 6000rpm?
4lo 2nd gear full throttle.

I was a mouse in a wheel on meth LOL

904runner has a video of him trying to get through a mud climb with tsl sx and he was denied as well. It looked exactly like that video, I did nt think it was possible then a few days after i saw his video I was denied.

Can't help much with gearing on this one but i can help with pix and tire recommendation.

Below are a few pix of my 02 on "33" or more accurately 285/75/16s. They are Yokahama Geolander AT-S and I have seen a whole Chicago winter with them and all i can say is WOW. they came in only second to parelli on the consumer report on all terrain tires. Ive had them in most types of terrain and they were great. Mud is their only obstacle and they really dont handle that bad for an A/T. They are great around town and on the highway as well. No noisier then the H/T that came on the car.

I vote 33. They still look BEEF and are VERY functional while still not being TOO hard on my IFS.

but when it comes down to it, get what you want.

Go with something in the middle. I have the Swamper LTB 34X10.5X15 and I love them.

(This pic was taken on private land with permision from land owner)
