Bridgestone Revo 2 vs. BFG A/T KO

Hey everyone,

I did a little bit of searching on this forum to read about some tire reviews but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. None the less I'm sure my personal situation is different from everyone else's and I would like to get your valued opinions on tires.

I currently have a 91 Toyota 4runner 22RE 4x4 with 31 x 10.50 x 15 Uniroyal Liberators that came with the truck. They seem to do ok offroad with little that i've done, but let me tell you they absolutely suck in the rain. I've never gone skidding through a stop light tell I ran on these tires. So this is probably one of my biggest fears when it comes to selecting tires, even on dry pavement they don't stop that great.

I do about 95% highway driving, 4% snow driving, and 1% offroading (could change soon).

So I'm looking for a tire that's great in the rain and snow and everynow and then go offroading. Probably really good in the snow, because I'm going to get brave soon and try going through some pretty heavy stuff

Well of with my rant on what I'll be doing with my tires, I have pretty much narrowed it down to a choice between
  • Bridgestone Revo 2s
  • BFG A/t KOs
From what I've ready the Revos are superior on highway and in the rain but wear fast. But I'm thinking the BFGs will do better in deep snow (snow rated), offroad, and probably wear better.

What do you guys think? Thanks for the help, I just want to make sure I make the right purchase.

X2 on the BFG's. I've been running a set on my 4runner for about a year now and I love them. My old tires were worn out Goodyear Wranglers and after the switch the only difference I noticed on the highway was that the tone of the BFG's was slightly different. Not louder, just different. I've ran them in mud, snow, and rain, and they've impressed me so much that I'm saving up to buy another pair for my truck
