Bridgestone dueler a/t prices?

well im looking into getting some new dueler a/t revos. 31/10.5/15 or whatever it is. but i went to my local firestone and he quoted me $544 with tax not including balancing and all that crap, since i can do that myself. but to me that seems a little steep. i was wondering if you guys know of any other places that sell the duelers for a good price. tirerack has them for $117 each, but then i would have to pay $70 for shipping, only saving me something like $4, so if you guys could help me out finding a better price that would be marvalous! thanks in advance!

Make a printout of Tirerrack's price. You can use the compare feature (as I did) and compare 3 different tires. Print the comparrison screen and take it to Sears. Sears should match the price and possibly beat it. That's what I did

WOW! I didn't realize Sears would do that! Also, if you have NTB in your area, they are owned by sears and will possibly do the same thing...

Now I know where my next set will come from!

I have a friend who works for Bridgestone and he says be aware buying their tires with all the problems that stemmed from the Explorer incident as they are being wishy-washy about the warranties on their tires and some of the retailers are giving some hassles also.

Just some food for thought.

The sears near me will match on-line prices, but then charge you an extra $10 per tire to approximate shipping charges. By your numbers, that should save you about $34. Sounds like your dealer prices are pretty good.

I paid $550 for my tires, mounted and balanced, but that was 3+ years ago, and it was for the regular dueler ATs (not the Revos), in a 32" tire.

I was checking out discount tire direct yesterday, and they have a free shipping promotion right now. I could've bought some Yokohama TerraGrappler AT II's in 265/75/16 delivered to my door for something like ~$460.

Not bad at all for that tire. Looks very similar to the Revo's.
