bent rim lip...prevent tire installation?

I have a slight bend in the outer lip of one of my rims. It's not bad at all. It does press against the tire a bit, so it is bent inward. If it was bad I'd have it fixed in a heartbeat, but I don't think it's bad enough to warrant fixing.

I've ordered some new tires, and am about to have them installed next week. My schedule is tight. So my question is, will this slight bend cause the tire dealer to not put on the new set of tires? Will they say I need to get that fixed before they put the tires on?

I mention my schedule being tight, and that's why I'm also posting here. I don't want to go to them to have them install it and have them say I need to go have the rim fixed first. I also want your opinions, as you fellas are unbiased.

I'll get a picture as soon as I can, but it's really not that bad (but aren't those always the famous last words?)

I'm assuming these are steelies, right? Have you called the tire dealer and asked them?

When I was at the dealer it totally slipped my mind. It wasn't until I was examining the rust on the rims that I figured this would be a problem.

I'd call them up, but I'm lazy and like to sleep in. My work schedule has me working evenings and nights, so I sleep in. And like I said, I wanted some unbiased opinions. I know the local tire shops here have contracts with repair shops whenever they break studs and such. Wasn't sure if they would want me to repair it (preferably at one of these shops) before I went in and had them replaced.

I'm not sure if they're aluminum rims or steel. It's whatever came stock on the 89 pickups.

worst case they can bang it out with a hammer(if its a steel wheel), but might be a liability thing...

Any good shop has a special "wrench" to bend the lip out. Done it a hundred times, most times I never even told the customer.
