If you want to sipe your tires do some research first and talk to the guys where you got them installed because it could void your warranty.
Your absolutely right, my daily driving conditions 6-8 months out of the year give me no insight into this topic, what was I thinking...

I'll have to give a long term report after the first of the year. One of the main reasons for getting them is here in N. Tex. we get a rainy season towards the end of winter. Our field trial season starts in January and some of the fields I go through are pretty nasty.
Should be a good test!

To all of you BFG guys.... (the OP got his tires so I assume I can hijack a bit) have BFG's gotten better with tread life? I've had various BFG's over the years and each and every time the mileage I get out of them sucked. I had 32" AT's, 33" MT's, and various street tires on a few cars, and I don't think I ever got more than 15,000 miles or so out of a set.

It seems with that many trials, it's more than just luck of the draw. I love how BFG's drive and handle, off road or on, but they wear too fast.

So tell me they got better!

I've got 'em on the Toy in 33x12.50 and run them about 6 months of the year, i've had them 3 summers now and haven't noticed particularly fast wear, although I don't know the mileage on them.

Good friend of mine got less than 2 years out of a set of 245/75-16 E rated on a diesel F350...

Good looking skins! I'm going to need new tires soon and have been doing a lot of looking over the past month or so. I'll have to find a place around here that sells those so I can go take a look. I'm running TreadWrights right now and really like them but the noise is a little much.

Jesus that's a lot of tire! I don't think I could afford the stereo to cover that up on the highway.

Well
I been driving on the Kelly TSR's for a while now and thought I would give an update.
1word.... AWESOME
I have had them off road and in the mudd and just recently lots of snow and ice. These tires have been worth every penny of the $700. I spent on them. Much better tire the either the BFG AT or MT I have had in the past. No undue wear or noise. They sound kinda like running water going 70
I would buy them again for any 4wd I would own... Fantastic tire
